Chicago Metro Green Line route provides rapid transit train service between Harlem in Forest Park, IL and Oak Park, IL to 63rd Street on Chicago’s South Side, through downtown via the Lake and Wabash sides of the Loop ‘L’. The Green Line is a rapid transit line on the Chicago Transit Authority’s “L” system. Green Line utilizes the system’s oldest segments (dating back to 1892), extending 20.695 miles (33.305 km) with 30 stops between Oak Park (Harlem/Lake) and Chicago’s West Side, to the Loop, and then to the South Side and West Englewood (Ashland/63rd) and Woodlawn (Cottage Grove/63rd).

Night Owl Service
Chicago Metro Green Line trains operate daily early morning to late evening. Bus routes which provide alternative Night Owl service are: N9 Ashland between 95th/Dan Ryan Red Line station and Clark/North via 95th, Ashland and North avenues. N20 between Washington/State and Madison/ Austin. N63 63rd between 63rd/Stony Island and Midway Orange Line station . N4 Cottage Grove between 63rd/Cottage Grove and Washington/State. Most owl routes operate at 30 minute intervals. Night Owl connections between the Red Line, Blue Line and 6 bus routes can be made at Washington and State, where buses depart at 10 and 40 minutes past the hour: N4, N20, N22, N60, N62, N66
